Liner notes

Fifty-some years in radio — the last twenty-four of them running Saskatoon Media Group, two FMs and an AM — and I still end up right here, next to the record player. For twenty-four years I hosted The Sunday Sockhop on 98Cool-FM: four hours of the music I grew up with, every week, until the show signed off on December 31, 2025. Listeners kept asking where they were supposed to go for this now. This is where. Every record on the air is pulled by hand from my own collection — the heart of it is original rock & roll and doo-wop, mid-fifties to mid-sixties, with the fifties, sixties and seventies all in the crate. My rule hasn't changed: if it sounds good, it goes on the air.
