That’s what listeners asked when The Sunday Sockhop signed off 98Cool-FM on December 31, 2025 — after 24 years of Vic Dubois spending four hours every Sunday with the music he grew up with. Sock Hop Radio is his answer.
Vic has spent more than fifty years in radio: he started as a DJ in British Columbia, moved through Alberta, and settled in Saskatoon, where he spent the last 24 years as General Manager of Saskatoon Media Group — two FMs and one AM. Now the records come off his own shelves, one at a time, by hand.
